Our Philosophy
With over forty years teaching experience, Jim Booth has found the answer: Early success leads to bigger successes-one step at a time. Our swim teachers use gentle encouragement plus high expectations to build happy, confident swimmers.
How We Teach
Welcome to the Jim Booth Swim School. Our program started over 40 years ago with one goal in mind: Excellence! Our techniques are unique and emphasize good basics. It is easier to learn the right way the first time, than to have to relearn later.
A Little Progress Everyday...

This is our swim school motto and your teacher's goal. We believe that a lot of little steps lead to great achievements and self-confidence.
Our innovative use of a smaller teaching pool allows swimmers to develop their stroke and confidence. The supportive teachers and warm water (94 degrees) helps kids relax. Swimming short distances with constant positive guidance encourage good stroke habits encouraged in the children. By the time they move to the lap pool they look forward to the challenge of swimming farther.
