Jim
Booth Swim School takes pride in teaching children the fundamental basics
of swimming so they develop a lifelong passion and appreciation of the
sport. Our classes are skill-based and each level builds upon
techniques they're already proficient at.
Classes
for children are taught on a 4:1 student to teacher ratio to ensure small
class sizes.
Recommended
ages: 2-12 years old.
Sea
Otters
This class, for the
beginning 2-4 year old, introduces the beginning skills that are the
building blocks of swimming; this leads to comfort and confidence in
floating.
Seahorse
Can
float on their front and back, develop arm stroke and the ability to
swim a short distance.
Seals
Perfect
their arm stroke, work on side breathing, backstroke, and strength;
builds confidence in preparation for the lap pool.
Swordfish
Continue to work on all strokes and lap swimming.
Prepares children for Dolphins Pre-Competitive Swim Team
Class
is designed to introduce young ones to a "water environment" and
allows individual improvements such as submerging underwater and eventual
underwater breath control.
